Apple and Raspberry sauce

Apple &

lately I have been experimenting with a variety of condiments and sauces, sweet and savory. making your own condiments can be a fun and eventful task with a few hits and misses as I have tried combinations that were just utterly a complete disaster, it is also a great way to reduce food wastage.

this simple yummy sauce can be used how ever you want in smoothies with yogurt for breakfast whatever tickles your fancy.

  • 2-3 apples sliced or diced
  •   1 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbs vanilla
  • 1 tbs cinnamon
  • 1 knob of ginger fine grated

first grab your apples you don't have to peel them if you don't want to, decor your apples and cut and place them in a hot pot or pan, add all your other ingredients place your lid on, put on a medium heat and cook until your apples are soft and red this will take approx 15-20 min. after apples are soft and flavorful using a stick blender or if using a smoothie blender wait until your mixture has cooled down a bit before processing. blend until your reach your desired texture and serve with so yummy yogurt and toasted nuts and seeds, store in a glass jar in the fridge for safe keeping.
